News Corp’s Rupert Murdoch Launches “The Daily” Exclusive iPad Apple.

News Corp has just announced the launch of its exclusive newspaper for Apple’s iPad tablet, The Daily, an event on Wednesday. Joined by Apple’s vice president for Internet services Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president for Internet services, joined News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch and executives Jesse Angelo and Jon Miller headed the announcement “digital renaissance” at a press conference at the Solomon Guggenheim Museum in New York.

The Daily , becomes available in iTunes App Store at least an hour after the announcement, will offer - “depending on the news” - up to 100 pages of content each day. The new iPad app was skillfully designed and packed with numerous features to make the most of the iPad’s functionality, including HD video and 360 degree photos.

Murdoch and News Corp is also planning to bring “The Daily” publication available on other major tablets sometime in the future, but said that the next couple of years really belong to the Cupertino-based iPhone maker. It is expected that “The Daily “will be the new favorite and best selling apps. However, according to Murdoch, he will only declare success of the iPad-only app “when we’re selling millions.”

“Ambitions very big but costs are very low. If talk about success financially it's a low figure but we can be more ambitious than that,” he said.

News Corp also disclosed that they need “less than half a million dollars a week” to keep The Daily rolling so it’s going to need a huge number of chunk of estimated 50 million American tablet owners to sign up for Murdoch to generate profits.

You can download “The Daily “in iTunes App store for free of cost using this link. It will cost 99 cents per week or $39.99 per year.
